Jory Malone is a World Champion and mastermind coach of World Champions having the rare distinction of being a World Champion, who has also coached two separate World Champions from their beginnings under his tutelage (Charles Smith, Abby Malone). Jory was a professional MMA fighter for over a decade and through 15 years of competition and over 400 matches was a standout American competitor for the Brazilian power house team Nova Uniao, which was ranked the top MMA team in the World In 2013. Jory’s passion is grappling where he’s won a number of titles over his career (World Champion, 2 X Pan American Champion, 11 X International Medalist and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary 8 X World Champion Robson Moura). Jory represented USA in the prestigious invitation only 2007 Abu Dhabi World Submission Wrestling Championships invited by the Abu Dhabi Royal Family.
Jory’slife work lies in thebiomechanicsand physiology of combat sports. He is a professional strength and conditioning coach, specializing in combat sports with a coaching accreditation from theUniversity of Colorado at Colorado Springs, a member of theTudor Bompa Institute(Tudor Bompa –Soviet Olympic Coach and “Father of scientific periodization in sports physiology”), and board member for John Davies’ Clube Sportif Montreal. In his coaching career he has worked with NCAA programs, the Department of Defense, high schools and professional athletes. Jory holds accreditations from the National Federation of High School Coaches, National Wrestling Coaches Association, a coaching certification from USA Wrestling and continuing education in neuroscience from the University of Jerusalem and game theory from Yale University. Jory has served, as the Head Wrestling Coach for Benton High School for the past six years, is an author and public speaker. When not coaching athletes at his Academy, Revolution Mixed Martial Arts, he travels giving lectures and seminars worldwide on topics ranging from sport specific skill mastery to the planning and implementation of training for elite level performance.by
